Exprerience a Finnish farm
Travel in Finland and have a holiday on a Finnish farm, where cows graze and tractors rumble. If you want, you can join the daily routines of the dairy farm and see how food is produced. Experience the Nordic lifestyle and enjoy a Finnish sauna.
You can stay in an apartment located in the farmhouse, in a shed house or even a tree tent in a forest pasture. There is a delicious breakfast and things to do both in the yard and in the nearby nature.
The swimming beach can be reached by bike and within a short drive there are nature trails, canoe routes, traditional finnish dance pavilions, skiing slopes and a village pub.
Ollinaho’s farm is located in Kangasniemi in the middle of Finland and it is suitable as a stopping place whether you are moving from south to north or west to east. The easiest way to get to the place is by car, but you can also arrive at the nearby Hankasalmi train station.

Farm family
Ollinaho is a real farm where real farm family lives and works. In Ollinaho, you will probably be met first by the farm’s friendly shepherd dog Nami and cats Emma and Papu. The other residents of the farm are Maisa and Tuomas and the children Friida and Tilda. Maisa and Tuomas have hosted the Ollinaho farm since 2014 and are the 14th generation of this over 400-year-old family farm.
Ollinaho is a living farm where a large herd of cows produces milk for Finns’ dinner tables. In summer, the cows graze on the farm’s organic fields and forest pastures.
Accommodation
Tupa
An apartment located in the farmhouse. The newly renovated apartment has a kitchen and bathroom, living areas and a sleeping loft. There is accommodation for 2+2 people in the loft and "bank" (see pictures!). It is also possible to put extra beds.
Price: 2 persons 140 € /night (includes breakfast, bed linen and VAT).
If there are more people staying, ask for an offer.

Aitta
A room in the shed house. A summer kitchen in the garden and toilet in the farmhouse are available for the guests. Washing facilities can be found in the outdoor sauna. There is one shed for two people, where it is also possible to get an extra bed for children. Pets are also welcome (extra charge 10 euros/pet).
Price for 2 persons 100 € /night (includes breakfast served in the summer kitchen, bed linen, children's bed and VAT).

Tree tent
Tree tent accommodation in a forest pasture. A summer kitchen and toilets are available for the guests 200 meters distance on the farm. Washing facilities can be found in the outdoor sauna. Guests must bring their own sleeping bags and pads. In bad weather or if you can't sleep in the tent, there is also a log cabin available as backup accommodation, where you can find a real bed and a roof over your head.
Price max 3 persons 80 euros/night (includes breakfast served in the summer kitchen and VAT).
